text misplaced in IE

I can't for the life of me work out why the text is dropping down in IE...

In your left nav, you have an h1. Since your h1 is at 170% size, your text is too wide for your division even though you have it as display: none.

You also have another error. You have two list items (in your main content) with the same id.

At first glance, I'm not sure why the text drops down (completely removing the hidden h1 doesn't seem to help either so I'm not sure how that could be the problem), but setting the margin of #left_col to -1px seems to bring the text back up.
