    Know any ASP Bulletin Boards?

Does anybody know of any ASP Bulletin boards, with similar functionality to vBulletin, phpBB etc?

    NZ Joe-

I've been following this one for a while and plan to start using it very soon. It's a little more polished than Snitz. Check it out: www.idealbb.com.

Just a word of warning however. It only works on SQL Server. If you don't have that, you're in trouble. Snitz works with Access 97/2000, SQL Server 6/7/2000, MySQL

Is it open source? Can it be customized?

Are these 2 alternatives (Snitz Forums and www.idealbb.com) open source? Can I customize layout, language and other things? Thanks

    joe-

You can customize the IdealBB somewhat through the administrator settings. If you want to tweak it even more, you can edit the .ASP files yourself.

    Same goes for Snitz.

If you already have SQL, I'd recommend the IdealBB. Otherwise, SQL's a big jump and fairly expensive, and you should stick with Snitz.
