You just set your target as blank, like below

    URL- <a href="http://www.URL.com" target="_blank">www.URL.com</a>

    Hope this helps

    I have a similar question...

I want to open a window with the following link for our site but can't - I haven't had problems with other hyperlinks...

    http://www.kodak.com/global/en/service/library/

I tried the above and then the actual link which includes "index.shtml" and I have tried every combination of page names...

Does "target="_blank" work with all web formats???

    Thanks

The target attribute should work for any link. It doesn't work in 100% of all browsers though just those that are frames compatible (anything above Navigator 2.0 and IE 3.0).

Yup, that's what I thought - that it should work whether HTML or SHMTL or whatever.

But just can't get that particular Kodak link to open in a new window...

Must be the editor of Homestead.Com that is preventing that link to work as some will and some won't...Just learned how to do this but was going crazy as not every link would open.

Will have to write straight HTML rather than add the "target="_blank" within Homestead's hyperlink element...

Thanks for helping me keep (for now) my sanity
