Exclamation IE for Mac is discontinued?

    MS site link

I'm trying to download IE Mac for testing purposes but Microsoft's website is saying that its no longer avaliable..

Am I missing something? Not that this isn't something to cheer about, but where was I when that happened?

Site says that they've stopped the downloads since January..must have been living under a rock that month.

Anyway, anyone here knows a trusted place I can download it off? I'm sure it's going to take the masses ten years to switch to firefox or safari regardless so I have to test anyway. Sucks.

Don't tell me to google it in your reply, I honestly wouldn't have posted the thread if I had time to google it, I'm too busy trying to finish my project within deadlines and testing for Mac isn't an issue for them but I neeeeed to knoooow.

They discontinued it a ways back. They are no longer developing it or offering for support for it.

And believe it or not Safari and FF have already blown by IE5.2 in terms of Mac usage so I wouldn't sweat it that much.

You're giving me something to cheer about!

At exactly the same moment IE on Windows has given me something to complain about, uergh, and the error is so weird, I'll bite my tongue and keep going with it, bleh.

Something about a div's left margin width not displaying by pixel, its off by at least fifty pixels I think. How frustrating. All my other margins are 0.

One thing out the way then!

http://browsers.evolt.org/ for all your dead browser needs

But yeah, IE/Mac isn't worth considering unless it makes up a big/extravocal part of your audience.

IE 5 for Mac was a piece of junk anyway.
