I'm looking for help here. I am using layers with Dreamweaver 2 and need to know how to keep a layer centred regardless of resolution.
I have posted this on different NG's and have yet to get an answer.
By the way, I need to have my layer overlapping, so convert layers to table is not an option.
I suggest you look for a dreamweaver help forum, or something like it. I don't use dreamweaver, so I have no idea where to look. I guess you could start at http://www.macromedia.com, and if worse comes to worsse, go to their FAQ section for dreamweaver.
Even though this is not a dreamweaver forum, I'll post a reply. (BTW, its not about DW, its about positioning with CSS)
The value of CSS properties 'left' and 'top' can be specified in percentages as well as pixels. When you specify a value, you refer to the position of the top left corner of your layer. The 'width' attribute can also be set to use % instead of pixel. Play with those and see if it works. It should work with both browsers, go to http://www.westciv.com/style_master/...Xproperty.html
