how do you get this type of tab

    http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h2...er1978/car.jpg

if you look at the jpeg file I've uploaded, it has these tabs for the Most Popular and Related Items section. How would I achieve these tabs via CSS?

Is it something along the lines whereby I just style the box first and then style the tabs after it so that it hovers over the box?

If there is a previous discussion that showed how to do this, I'd appreciate it. thanks.

    Hi,

Basically a tab like that is just a container stacked on another container and the bottom border of the tab is coloured to match the container underneath. Or the tab can be made to dip behind the container or overlap in some way to hide the bottom border.

The positioning can be in a number of ways as dictated by the layout.

Here is a simple multi tab example:

Basically its just about positioning elements correctly to get the effect you want.

Thanks- that sounded like what I had in mind. I'll just have to play around with it a bit.
