    Partition Help

Ok, I have a couple questions regarding recombing partitions. A while ago, I installed Suse linux 7.1 on my computer. I have one hard drive c: . I allocated 2 gigs of my 30gigs to linux and the other 28 to Windows. Since I uninstalled linux, I was wondering how I could recover the space that I gave linux when I set it up? I have run fdisk and here is my partition information
    Code:
Partition Status Type Volume Label Mbytes Syste
    c: 1 A 27180 FAT32
       2 2001
So how can I recover those extra 2 gigs of space? Any help is greatly appreciated.

YOu will need Partition Magic if you want to merge that partition with Windows without loosing everything.

If you don't mind formatting and reinstalling, then delete both partitions, and recreate one large one.

Sorry, fdisk cannot merge partitions like you speak of

So if I were to purchase partion magic, it would also recognize linux partitions? Because that partition that was setup was from Suse 7.1 disk drake or something

yes partition magic should recognise your linux partition...

however, if you just want to recover the 2 gigs without merging it back to your other 28 you can simply delete the linux partition and reformat it for win32...
