    www in IE

I remember someone mentioning here that there is a shortcut to add www to your url when you type it in the Open dialog box.

    What was that shortcut?

Well I remember being able to type 'sitepoint' into the address bar, then pressing CTRL in combination with ENTER to end up with www.sitepoint.com.

    A nice shortcut.

Ctrl + Enter works for me, but Shift doesn't.

Neither work for me. Maybe it wasn't implemented in IE 5.00.

I've got IE6 and Shift + Enter doesn't work. Only CTRL and Enter works.

Still don't know what the shortcut is. Wouldn't it be quicker to type 'www'?

ctrl and enter in Internet explorer 5.5...

You can get away with not typing the www. in most cases anyway... you still need the .xxx though.
