    accepting payments

I have finished working on my web designing site... and everything is ready to run... but I still dont know how I could accept payments online...
So I just wanted to know whats the most sufficient, cheapest way to receive payments from clients...
any kind of help would be appreciated...

ohh and P.S. I live in the middle east so I would need a web site that offers this service to the mideast.. or like do I ask my clients to send check, or money orders etc...???

There are many "third-party" companies that will give you this service (for a small commission, of course).

You can also use ComTrust but this is highly NOT recommended because their prices are high and they are a sister company of Etisalat.

Have a look at http://www.easypayme.com/. I have not used their services, but they look promising.

You can easily implement PayPal. I don't know how much they charge but it's relatively steep.

Actually PayPal is quite affordable, compared to other third-party solutions; we have been using them a lot since March, and they charge 2.2% plus $.30/transaction. Really not bad at all.

The downside to PayPal is that they make each customer sign up for an account; it's impossible to just enter CC info and walk away. So it's still not as good as a full merchant account, but beats the heck out of any other third-party solution I've seen, especially since most of them offer similar or less features but with much higher fees (i.e. revecom, 2checkout, et. al.)
