    Driver letter problem

I just installed the Windows XP, I have another primary slave hard drive and Zip 250MB external drive. After installation, the main hard drive suppose to have C letter, another hard drive suppose to have E and Zip suppose to have F letter.

However, the drive letter total change, Zip has C letter, main hard drive has E letter and my extra hard drive has F letter.

How can I fix this? Anybody knows?

No, not what I've known of, I've checked already , the only way is reformat the whole hard drive and unplug the zip out at the beginning of installation, that's the only way I can think of.

when you do the install of the iomega drive software during the process it will ask you what drive letter you would like to assign to it. It is like a drop down box with available choices.

You could go into the admin tools and then drive administrator, and re assign drive letters there also.

Win2000 and XP the exact location is a little different but can not recall it off the top of my head. My Laptop is at home with 2000, Xp on it.

I believe you right click on the my computer icon(on the desk top) and choose manage, then it is under there.

If you just remove it a re-install it, it gives you the option of what letter you want.
