    Session across subdomains

I haven't tried it yet, so I guess I SHOULD do that, but I am 99% sure I read that it doesn't work, so I'll ask here for the time being..

if I have xyz.mydomain.com and abc.mydomain.com, is there some way I could make their session work on both? So they wouldn't have to, for example, re-log in?

You could keep track of the session ID in a cookie to transfer it between sites on the same server.

    Hi,

Cookies can work across subdomains and you could also store sessions in your database, that would obviously allow you to access from subdomains.

However, From what I have read sessions as standard, across sub domains dont work.

    Mark

    Edit:

    Beaten to it!
