IE TD's - Doesn't show border when no content, CSS fix?..

    Hi all,

I've just noticed that if you apply CSS borders to td's, IE doesn't bother rendering them if the td has no content, this is obviously very annoying as it messes up the view of the whole table.

Is there a way to fix this from CSS? Rather then having to put an   in any td's that are empty.

    Many Thanks,
    Matt

Just found this: http://www.w3.org/TR/CSS21/tables.ht...ef-empty-cells but apparently IE 6 doesn't support it, since it does nothing. VS.NET also highlights it as an invalid CSS property
