    Naming your page question

Say you have a news page, normally when I name my news pages I name it 'persons-name-news-1' 'persons-name-news-2' etc.

But someone said to me it would be better to replace the '1' and the '2' with what the news was about.

So say its a page about Katie Holmes and shes just had a baby it would be

    'katie-holmes-news-katie-holmes-gives-birth-to-baby'

Would that be ok or spammy, would it help?

    Thanks

I think this is a very reasonable thing to do. If you have news page about some industry or niche, most probably keywords will be used in the question title. This means you get more real pages where real people ask real questions and you/someone provides them with real answer. No one can prohibit you to provide your clients with the support of your type.

And if you have these pages with Q&A as static pages, this is great for SEO.

And if someone says about spam, ask them to close Yahoo Answers who are doing the same, and promote this new service worldwide.

It's ok to do that. In fact many Wordpress blogs do that by default.
