    Is ASP and ASP.NET the same

    I am confused about this ASP.NET...what is this .net..is it a software for writing asp code or?...plz guide me..

    Still you can use ASP with the whole .NET thing.

    Since ASP.Net is a totally different framework, I do not think there would be a mass adoption when it is released.

    If it were ASP 4.0 we were talking about it would be a different story, but its not.
