Video Driver File Missing - GFXVFW.VxD
For some reason there is a file missing when I try to restart my computer. It won't go past the screen that says SYSTEM.INI makes a reference to this file and some programs won't be able to load. I managed to find the file on the internet, and downloading it on to a floppy disk, but what folder does it go under? I assume the Windows folder, but I maybe mistaken.
Don't ask me how I deleted it, as I was just restarting the computer.
BTW, I'm on a laptop, that's how I'm writing this. I'll just put the file in under Safe Mode because it will cut on under that.

Well, I just fixed my own problem.
I restored a file I deleted through safe mode (a password list file), then put the GFXVFW.VxD file into the Window's folder as a wild guess, and boom, it works!

You might try a system restore and then place the VxD file in the Windows folder!

I figured it out.
I hate system restores.
