    • Event reminders for your personal events.

    • Basic Website Analysis and Review (a $29.95 value)

    Website Analysis and Review
Tired of having to review three websites before people can review yours? Get your site to the front of the line by purchasing a Website Analysis and review. We have three levels to suit your needs and budget.

    Basic Package
With this package we will review up to 3 individual pages on domain site. You will get an outlined document covering:
    • Layout and style including colors, design and consistency.
    • Validation of html, CSS and javascript code.
    • Review of the site in 4 major Web Browsers (Internet Explorer, Netscape 6.1, Mozilla and Opera)
    • Accessibility of the site.
    • Basic Search engine analysis (meta tags, keyword density).

This package will cost you $39.95 or 3000 SitePoints.

    Advanced Package
With this package we will review up to 10 different pages on one domain. The package includes everything in the basic package and:
    • Search Engine Analysis.
    • Comparison of your site with 3 competitors.
    • Receive customized recommendations on increasing traffic.

This package will cost you $79.95 or 6000 Sitepoints.

More details about these programs will be made available closer to their public rollout. I have a few more ideas as well.

How you will be able to accumulate SitePoints:
    • Earn points for every post and thread you make. (1-3 points)
    • Bonus points if you post in the secret forum. This forum will be selected daily and could be any public forum in the community. (5 points)
    • Earn Points for referring friends and colleagues. (25 points for signups, 10 for "send to friend").
    • Earn points from other members. (will vary)
    • Submitting Articles to the Network and/or newsletter (up to 200 points).

To limit abuse there will be a maximum you can earn per day plus additional checks and balances will be put into place.

We are currently accumulating SitePoint but the system is still under development and their swopping/spending has yet to be implemented.

Humm, I thought he was jokingóI don't think that I like that so much. Quantity doesnít denote quality, to me. A lot of people talk a lot, but they donít say very muchóĎYou know what I mean?

Iíve noticed that certain types of posts generate the most amount of traffic. But, those arenít necessarily the most useful. Arguments are one type that generates a lot of posts, but the back and forth isnít necessarily useful, either. So does just plain chatting, but again that rarely adds to the quality of the thread.

It seems to me that itíd be more prudent to create some sort of rating scale similar to whatís on the articles. That way, you could implement a whole bunch of useful features, too, such as: sorting posts by rating, making a list of the most useful posters (as opposed to whose just the most prolific), etc. I know that thatís probably more difficult to employ, but, on a whole, I think itís entirely more useful. Should I put this in the suggestions forum?

In the future you will be able to give Sitepoints to people to thank them for helping you etc.

I think that's why posts in sitepoint don't get added to your post count or something in General Chat.
