    how can I fix this?!

When I came home and got on my computer today it froze and the screen would not display. I restarted the computer and after I had entered my windows password a message came up saying "there is an error in the system registry windows will restart and correct the problem. Well everytime I restart it says the same thing. I can get on my computer through my netowork so is there a way to fix this easily?

I believe MS makes a registry repair tool. Let me look into that and I will post a link if I find one. Of course, we do need to know your OS.

whoa whoa whoa, folks! Hold the phone! We haven't found out what version of Windows he's running. There are methods to fix this.

Win Me, 2000 and XP all have a System Restore feature built in that will allow you to choose a previous "OK" point.
Windows NT also has a system restore but needs to be accessed before you get to the NT logon screen...while the system is booting, before the blue screen while NTLOADER is running.

Thats sucks. ...First thing I would do is upgrade. The only time i am fatalistic about windows is when that version is mentioned. SE was the worst and most unstable release of windows since win95 (beta releases)
