    iframe

    Does an iframe HAVE to have a source?
    is there anyway to make a blank iframe?

    <iframe>
    <html>
    <body>

    text here

    </html>
    </body>
    </iframe>

    is there a way to make it without a SRC?

    What exactly are you trying to do? Do you want a scrollable box?
    HTML Code:
    <div>
    text here
    </div>
    Code:
    div { width:30em; height:15em; overflow:auto; }

    unless a div box can load different pages in each, then id like to use those.

    If you have a plain "<iframe></iframe>" then I think browsers will use about:blank for the source. To display a web page in the iframe, set a src="". To hide the iframe, specify display:none.

    Or am I missing something?
