What's a good CTR?
What kind of CTR should I be shooting for with Adsense?
Right now, I'm struggling to get 1%. Usually I'm between .8% and 1%.
Even that much was a bit of a struggle, and I've gotten that much by trying to use Google's reccomended hot zones as much as possible.
Is that good? Bad? Needs work?
I guess I'm just wondering what the median click through percentage is that most people are getting.

Anything less than 4.59 percent is crap.
Seriously, it varies widly by site, position, type of site, etc. There is no universal answer.

Between .4 and .5 for me. Not a lot of relevant ads for my site.

1.50% on my main site (in signature). The problem I face is more that often those clicks are worth $0.01 =0\

Anything less than 3% is bad and suggests you need to do some basic SEO/Markting/Design work. In reality webmaster shouldn't accept anything less.
