    Using Hyphens in Image Names

    Just wondering, for old browsers, would using - (hyphens) in URL values be a problem?

    In images for example...

    <img src="http://images.website.com/images/11-22.jpg" />

    or ...

    <img src="storage/images/11-22.jpg" />

    This doesn't cause any problems on any present date browsers, but for old browsers that are considered ancient, would it?
    I can't believe I ate the whole thing

    Why would this be a problem in older browsers? The dash/hyphen was allowed in the DOS 8.3 file naming convention, before the web existed.
