Launchable Javascript not working in IE 6

This is odd...

Any time I click on a link that will launch a new window witih Javascript, the new window never opens. My internet settings are the defaults, and I'm using IE 6 and Windows 2000. How can I make the windows open? I remember there being settings somewhere to let you turn activeX and things like that on and off..but forgot where it was

Tools -> Internet options -> security tab

Hightlight the "internet globe" and select "custom settings"

About 3/4 of the way down the page, under the heading "scripting" you will see "active scripting" options are to disable and enable. Make sure it ENabled.

Hmmm, other than that, I don't know. Kinda stumped me on that one...
