phpnuke or phpweblog or <ur recommendation>?

    Hi experts out there,

Soon I'll be starting out my personal weblog, a NON PROFIT site for my daily blurbs and thoughts. I'm beginner -> intermediate user, I know HTML but not that experience w/ PHP and stuffs like that.

I've already registered my own domain and host that supports PHP+mySQL, that's the reason why I'll going for a PHP script as I heard it's fast

The question is I'd like something that is easily configurable and the site would be able to start almost immediately. I was wondering what script should work best for me.

My criteria( in chronology order of importance)
    1)comments on my logs
2)able to upload images and display w/o any frills
    3)polls
4)theme that I can download and use, as I see that phpnuke themes are quite cool . It doesn't matter if it's not original it's just MY weblog after all.

**It seems to me that phpnuke "would" fit the bill nicely, I think.

Would like some comments from all experts out there? I might encounter some problems setting myself and hope that if there's anyone that can help me?

    MY ICQ no. is 47934119.

    Thanks a zillion.

    I learned php/mysql with phpnuke.

if your just starting out I'd say thats your script. It does all you said you need it to.

    good luck

Maybe www.postnuke.org would do the trick too, and better, because it doesn't have as many bugs phpnuke does.
Also, I think using a *nuke script for a personal weblog is overkill, but that must be because I'm biased, since I coded a light php+mysql weblog script that handles just the news and comments, but at least can be customized by yourself...
