    Web Page Freezes on MAC

    I know this is a long shot, but can anyone tell me why my site:

    www.videocodelibrary.com freezes on a macintosh?

    If you can think of any similiar situations such as this or links to resolve the issue I would appreciate it!

    mac freeze

    I don't have a Mac, but if you temporarily comment out the embed you'll either isolate the problem or you can rule that out.

    Mittineaque,

    How would I replace the embed? What would I use in it's place?

    embed

    I don't mean that you should replace it, just see if that's what's causing the problem. Temporarily comment out the embed tag like this and see if it still freezes in Mac.
    HTML Code:
    <div id="video"><span class="style2">Featured Video: "Lean Wit It, Rock Wit It"</span><br>

     <!--       <embed name="RAOCXplayer" src="http://www.videocodelibrary.com/asx.php?videoID=27191993" type="application/x-mplayer2" width="300" height="250" showcontrols="1" showstatusbar="0" loop="false" enablecontextmenu="0" displaysize="0" pluginspage="http://www.microsoft.com/Windows/Downloads/Contents/Products/MediaPlayer/"></embed> -->
            <br>
    If it still freezes, then you can look for something else to be the source of the problem, if it's OK without it, you won't have to "replace" it, but figure out what needs to be changed with it.

    That's good advice, Mittineague. It's best to narrow down the culprit before you start making changes.

    It very well may be the embed, but don't change anything before you know that for sure... because embedding for Safari and Mac's IE is a pain in the *ss, and if what you have now works then you don't want to screw it up.
