Liverpool 3-1 Manchester United
from soccernet
Liverpool 3-1 Manchester United
Liverpool made it four successive wins against their arch-rivals.
Michael Owen scored twice to suggest United's grip on the championship is nowhere near as strong as it has been in previous seasons.
Owen curled in a 32nd-minute opener before John Arne Riise made it 2-0 before half-time with a blistering free-kick
i'm so happy!!!

Man United is drowning, months after months,...
Mauritius (where i live)couldn't afford to pay millions dollar to watch it live through Supersport, here, football is played by EVERYONE. But i hope to see those goals!

Yeah I am a Liverpool fan myself, but the win isnt as good as other years, UTD have let in as many goals as teams in the bottom 3. It is quite clear they have been struggeling all season so far. It was better last season when Liverpool were like the only team to beat them at home all season!

what i see in this season's victory is a possible return of liverpool to the glory days...if they keep up this kind of form in the league...

Gack! Why did we sell Jaap Stam? Last season it took us until March (!) to concede this many goals. That's nearly five months more. And we've now lost three games - the way I see it, if you lose six you can forget any chance of the league. And Leeds haven't lost any.
Liverpool fought for it, we didn't. End of story. The smallest consolation is that Keane and Giggs didn't play - Butt and Fortune aren't in the same league - maybe if they had it might have been different, but if wishes were fishes etc.
We were outclassed and outfought by the better team etc etc.
I'm getting more and more annoyed about our defence, and the Jaap Stam stuff. Pah!
Well done anyway, Liverpool deserved it for the way they fought, but Newcastle had a fifteen point cushion and we took 'em, long way to go yet!

Great result, made even better by sitting next to my Man U fan flat mate. Two opening goals were superb, great game (from my perspective).
Hopefully make another Cup Final this season, preferably Champions League. Got to two last year, the first time for a long time.
Must say, I feel pretty smug at the moment, and that doesn't happen too oftenLife Goggles - The Entertaining Environment Blog

but if this does cost Man U the title then Sir alex ferguson probably has only himself to blame...

Riise's goal was a bullet!!
No keeper would've stopped that.
The top 2 teams from the last couple of years (Man Utd and Arsenal) are getting left behind by Leeds and Liverpool.
This displeases me, as I'm an Arsenal fan. Losing 4-2 to Charlton at home is unacceptable.

It's a very weird thing, but I have noticed over the past few years that when Man United make a pig's ear of it (which they inevitably do at some point every season), the other challengers also foul up.
I have to agree that you've got to beat Charlton at home, not that I've got any room to speak after Fergie fielded a bunch of little boys and misfits yesterday.
Did anyone see his post-match interview on Not The Match Of The Day last night? That was an odd one.

Blah.... I'm MU loyal fan. Losing to Liverpool like that makes me want to puke. Yes I admit Liverpool is a much better team this season compared to MU, their defends seems to be so damm fragile lately.
And as for Blanc, yes he is slow but he is not known to be a sprinter in his glory days either. Compare him with Stam is more physical and Blanc is more a technical skill. But I prefer Stam.
Lastly sack the the eractic french goalkeeper!Your WebHosting Partner - RouterWebHost.com
