This Ultimate BB, and navigation

Hi,
My first time here :-).
I've got forum just like this one (UBB)
and seems it's not very good compatible
with site navigation. 'Cause here is no links to other pages on this site.
I haven't paid money yet for my UBB and I'm not shure about it. But I think it's the BEST
forum you can get on the internet :-).
Is there anyway to add navigation on hole site with search... ect. and don't make it like a big mess?
Maybe on the top and bottom of this forum?
Any ideas?

I like the Ultraboard (http://www.ultrascripts.com/)

I think it is even better than the UBB, plus it's free!

You can add all of that to your UltraBoard, but I don't think you can do that to a UBB.

Hell Yeah !
That board not bad at all !
and it's free... for this one i have to pay
$65 a year... or something, or buy it for
$160 something...
The only thing i not really like, that on that board kinda many options for people...
i mean that's cool for me... but for "uzer"
it's can be confusing...but i guess i can remove it, right?
Layout is wonderful too !

I've tried to set-up a navigation on top and bottom on this UBB, but 'cause "code" of this board is not easies, it became a big mess... I mean, not the way I like :-)

Well navigation is easy to do.

I have had a couple different ways of doing it on my site, but ended up with text links and table cells with background colors to break it up.

You can also make left navigation with frames of course, or a more inventive, and much more reasonable way of doing it which is using the header insert, and the footer insert of your control panel, and breaking up your table html to fit around the ubb. Basically using starting tags in the header of your control panel, and closing tags in the footer insert of your control panel, which wraps your ubb in a table. You can see that done at:

And remember that it is an example of the navigation, not the look, because some hate the new scriptkeeper look, some like it, but either way you can see it work.


And I am looking forward to the new UBBE which I dont think Ultraboard will be able to touch. But probably will be more suited to larger forums.

Yes, UltraBoard 2000 is very-very good.
I'll take UltraBoard. Because it seems to be free! Even if they will ask for money, I believe that it'll be less then Ultimate.cgi :-).
And thouse replyes you can easy turn off, or make code that feets your web site....
