Only been around a month? Don't worry, you have plenty of time to develop your traffic.

Just because your competitors are large doesn't mean they'll take charge in the search engines. Many of my competitors spend a lot of money on advertising, yet I'm No. 1 in search engines under all of my desired key terms. I haven't spent a penny.

You can improve your search engine ranking dramatically by focusing on your page rank. Work hard on getting reciprocal links with other popular music websites. You don't necessarily need to trade only with other Zep sites. The Doors, Hendrix, and Aerosmith would also be good links to trade with. Stay in the same genre of course.

    Hi Guysmy!

If you dig deeper there are lots of keywords that you can target. Don't target Led Zeppelin, it's too broad and you'll be competing with official sites, fan clubs, etc. You'll have more competitors with the word "Led Zeppelin" which is very general than say "Led Zepellin Lyrics".

Anyway I used the Overture suggestion tool and here's the other keywords that I've found:
    Led Zeppillin lyrics
    Led Zeppelin tabs
    mp3
    picture
    faq
    tablature
    tablature
    photo
    discography, and many many more.

What you do is make different sections in your site fro those keywords and optimize them for the S.E., you'll find that it's rather easy to get to the top for those. Hope this helps.

And don't forget some of their extremely popular songs:

    Kashmir
    Stairway to Heaven
    D'yer Maker
    etc...

Do you mean how many ad networks or how many banners?

If you are talking ad networks, read the contracts carefully. Many networks do not allow their banners to appear on pages with other network banners.

Use as many as you want, but keep the visitor in mind and don't bombard them. Always test and you will find something. test, test, test, test, bingo, test, test, test, bingo, test, test...

I've been looking at my stats some.

This month on Burst alone, I'm averaging 30k ad views per day. However, I'm only making about $6 per day. Yesterday I had 51k ad views and only $5.

    Hmm...

I should make about $2,000 gross this month from my Websites, though the actual profit is significantly lower. I expect next month to be much better in profit but also in gross.

Primary programs are Advertising.com's newsletter network and my own newsletter ad sales, DoubleClick for popups and banners, Gorilla Nation serving some defaults, Standard Internet paying a lot from programs such as AllClicks (primary), ClickThruTraffic, ClickHereForCellPhones, and SearchTraffic. I have a few of my own advertising deals, like with other Websites, but other than that I have minor programs such as DreamMates, not too bad, and that type of thing.
