Hi Guys!

im not good at web hosting so im worried if im purchasing the right plan/package for the site that needs uploading. i have this web application that display a large amount of data, were users can submit comments, has a descent mid size database that exports data and displays it in flash using some software, etc. and also will contain random banner ads on some parts of the page. so in short, its a little busy. so i was thinking if purchasing a package with 20Gz transfer will do? or will i need to go for the next package?

Chances are you'll not need near 20GB unless the site becomes very popular. Start with the small package, you can always upgrade later.

Yup, start small and upgrade. Also is this currently hosted anywhere you can see what it is using now?

You should be able to find a host with a nice entry level package and then you can always upgrade from there.

What type of budget are you looking at? Any other specific requirements?

My recommendation is to search around for reviews on the hosts you narrow it down to. A good place along with google would be webhostingtalk.com. Good luck!

thanks, so you mean 20 Gz is a little to much.. actually, this is the starter package. but the client is very keen on detail, and he wants the site professionally fast.. i think its http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/
