Im not sure how possible this is, and Im pretty sure, it will involve more than one language, but here's my idea....


In some forms on some of my websites, users upload larger files in the 3-10 meg range. Now the problem is the other page dosn't fully load until the files are totaly uploaded, and they dont know how long it will take, or how long has passed (like or they 50% done or 80% done?)
Is there some script that can upload the files and keep an accurate report fed to the user. Probaly using java working with php...

is it even possible?

also.. is there a limit to the file size that php can upload using copy() if so, is there a way to change the limit

not sure if it's possible with php, but JS can do it.
