    database error

    I got this error while trying to run backup.sql file in my blank database:

    <br>
    <b>Fatal error</b>: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in <b>/home/phpmyadmin-2.2.0pre5/lib.inc.php3</b> on line <b>578</b><br>
    MySQL said: You have an error in your SQL syntax near '
    Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /h' at line 1

    That's forum database that I got from my current host, it's about 600K and I want to transfer that database to the new host. In my understanding, the error is made because the size is big so 30 seconds is not enough? if I am right, is there a way to increase the max 30 seconds, if I'm not, then could you tell me what cause this problem? thank you so much for helping.

    In php.ini there is a line

    max_execution_time = 30 ; Maximum execution time of each script, in seconds

    You probably can use .htacess to change it
