    emailing a password

    Hi,

I've created a simple script that creates a user password and stores it in database (along with the user's e-mail address).

I'd like to have the password automatically e-mailed to the user, but don't know how to do this. I've checked out hotscripts, but didn't come across anything.

    Any help?

I think the best thing to do is have the username and passwords stored into a variable, and then use the mail() command to send them.

    Hey pv25,

    Just use:
    PHP Code:
mail (string tostring subjectstring message [, string additional_headersstring [additional_parameters]])

    Thanks. That was fast.

P.S. Next time I'll try the manual first.
