ASP and PHP queries shouldnt be posted in here because neither ASP or PHP are client side languages.
On a lighter note your identical post thats in the ASP forum has been answered![]()
Oranges or Apples? Ballet or Tap? Folk or Rock?
Depends on several things:
1: Your background
2: What hardware/software you are currently running
3: What hardware/software you're client (if any) is running
4: Your budget!
My preference - php! Purely because I like the open source spirit that surrounds it and the fact that it costs nothing in licence fees to set up a php/MySql server (unlike an .asp/SQL server). I find the syntax reasonably logical - but that is a subjective thing. Whichever one you decide on, you'll get the help you need right here (I certainly have and will continue to do so!).
My Q's would be:
What do you currently have knowledge of? (HTML/CSS/JS/Visual Basic/Perl/C/anything....)
What server are you on (if any)>
Are you developing for another person?
Are you loaded?
