What are some good pay-per-click companies?

    Hello all,

Can you guys please point me to some good pay-per-click advert. companies? I don't have a large community yet, so I can't get affiliated with anyone, because I probably would not sell anything.. or get anyone to buy anything..
But I am looking for a way to start bringing in some revenue, and need some help..

And those "unique clicks only" companies won't do too good either.. because like I said, I don't have a large community yet..

If you have any other ideas, or maybe if you're in the same kind of a situation.. Any help would be greatly appriciated..

    Thanks in advance!

Almost all companies require unique clicks.

You may want to try FastClick.com or my network,
    dkAds.com.

Also, SI programs such as BulkClicks and AllClicks
    may generate you some revinue.

I have to disagree - we use a number of CPC networks that count all clicks.

Maybe I was thinking of impressions.

    I would try i-clicks.net, nailitadvertising.com, fastclick.com, burstmedia.com, clickxchange.com to name a few.

I think that Nail It advertising may be a bad choice. I'll let you decide for yourself though. Please refer to these threads:

What do you mean? Nearly all ad companies have some form of protection on this or they'd go bankrupt; people would click ads over and over again and would rack up money easily.

I recommend you visit the site of one of SPF's own, Czar, at http://www.net-ads.com - it has a lot of info on what's available, including reviews.

When doing business with an ad network these days, we require the ad network to supply us with their EIN number and D&B number to verify their legitimacy. We also run a credit check on the network.

If a network is unwilling to supply us with this information, we simply do not do business with them.

    Lil_red:

We too have solved the problem of not being paid also, very simple solution: Demand payment from advertisers up front or don't do business with them.

Once we have a relationship with the advertiser we let them pay half upfront, half at the end. Or work something else out however until then we take the money up front.

And would you do this with a publisher? Give the publisher payment up front or do you make them wait an extended period to get payment?

Just out of curiosity, why do you pay your publishers so little when you are getting reasonably decent rates?

We pay publishers at the end of the month, and do not hold their money for an extended period of time:

We send checks on the 15th of the month for the previous month, they usually get them just as the next pay period is ending. So publishers will get the check for January around the middle of February, in full. We also allow publishers to request payment even if they have not reached the minimum balance.

We have yet to miss payment to an honest publisher. The reason we won't pay publishers up-front is simple: some of them will cheat, and we cannot garentee the number of impressions/clicks they will get or the conversions on those impressions/clicks.

    As for our rates:
We are raising our rates shortly, again. The reason they are what they are now is that we are looking out for our welfare and trying not to feel the squeeze of the tight economy. We have to cover server costs, sales person commissions, and various other business expenses from the money generated via banner ads, we pay what we can afford.

    Warm Regards,
    Dan
