    Resale Value of Directories

I wanted to mention that recently I have seen several directories sold for x,xxx and one for xx,xxx!

Keeping good records of traffic, payments and profit can be very important to being able to sell your directory.

I wanted to start this thread about ways you can be sure to have a good resale value for your directory.

    What are your thoughts?

Directories are no different than any other kind of website.

    Revenue * X = sales price

Increase your revenues and you will get higher prices.

I would guess that keeping good records would improve the resale value of any web site.

Yep, when it comes to getting the best deal, you have to be able to prove exactly how much you have made, so keeping good records of links sales, adsense and any other revenue streams will make a big difference in how much you will be able to get for your directory.
