^ This new video card reminds me of track 4 of the Future Sound of London's "ISDN" album which I bought my junior year in college. At the time I was put off by it's complexity and strangeness and also the fact that the girl I was dating at the time had a tendency towards acoustic folk rock. The song, "Slider" begins with a heavily gated drum loop and progresses into a lush field of distorted synthesizers which builds slowly over arrayed nature samples. This is important because when one examines the antistropic filtering performance of the BFG HyperMaXXX Eliminator Turbo VIII it begins silky but then progresses into a rich, multilayered symphony of pixel interpolation.
< The manual for this card reminds me of a Soviet Constructivism show I saw at the Guggenheim in 1997 in that they use slightly desaturated reds over much of the left-hand pages to bring out the subtle notes of Linotype Optima on the right.
