A good book to start with

hello

am new to site point.
i need advice from the pros out there.
i want to lean Database more to design side.
so if any one can recommand me a book to guide me start database.
and i know there is few programes used for database Like Oracle, Mysql
Access, Microsoft SQL server...etc

i need something that i learn database design not the programe it self(i hope am right)?

my knowledge. i have tried MuSQL so design simple data base and simple tables with no relations or normalization. (lack of the basic consepts)

i have heard that Database Design for Mere Mortals by Michael J. Hernandez is supposed to be really good
