    Javascript Form/Layers - Problem in Netscape

    I thought I had thoroughly tested this functionality of the URL below (apparently, I did not.)

    The "toggle" (show/hide) display functionality works perfectly in IE, but the form fields do not show in Netscape.

    Someone, please help... view http://vticonsulting.com/test.html in Netscape to see what I mean.

    Thanks. Any pointers are tremendously appreciated.

    Hi Victor,

    A NN4 layer has a document property. This implies that form tags do not cross div boundaries. So, your date/time form elements are not within a form (as far as NN4 is concerned).

    See the "Hiding Selects" script/tutorial at my site (GrassBlade)

    You might also want to redo your function so that it checks for:

    function toggleT(_w,_h)
    {
    if (getElementById)
    document.getElementById(_w).style.visibility = (_h=='s') ? 'visible' : 'hidden';
    else if (document.all)
    document.all[_w].style.visibility= (_h=='s') ?
    'visible' : 'hidden';
    else if (document.layers)
    document.layers[_w].visibility = (_h =='s') ? 'show' : 'hide';
    }
