Do you offer layaway?

If you offer a layaway option on your website could you tell me whether it is a automated solution (managed by a script) or manually maintained (no automatic billing, emails etc...)

I have been searching for months for something that is easy to use, doesn't require extensive coding and that DOESN'T require me to store credit card information (if an automated solution). I also just want some ideas on how to tackle this.

Hmm, shame you've not had many replies but I have to be honest, I'm not sure many know what a layaway is.

I didn't, I've just come back from dictionary.com

It's not something I've ever seen implemented...
