Editing PDF with PDFlib + PDI

I cant seem to get PDF_open_pdi_page to work without making that stupid "cannot be in scope" error.

Basically, I've got a PDF already created and have created a block with the pdf block tool.

I then make a php file which creates creates a new object, opens the file (using PDF_open_pdi) but then can't open the page. I've set the permissions on the file and directory but no dice.

Any ideas?

Note: To clarify, i'm NOT creating a new PDF. Its an existing pdf that has a block placed in it (using the pdf block tool) and I want to be able to just insert some text to that block and save.

(Oh, and it's running off linux/apache)
