    Frieght for ecommerce

I have a ecommerce site setup and i wanted to get freight prices for my customers from places like ups and fedex for how much it will cost them to have it shipped to thier location. However i wanted to do it using backend server code, so it would look like they never left my site.. is this possible?

What are other people doing about getting frieght prices for thier sites?

You can do it but it usually involves lots of custom coding.

Also, what about your packaging and handling charges? They are usually included in the broader "shipping" charge. But if you use actual charges from FedEx or UPS etc how will you account for those costs?
