    Shopping Cart

I'm looking for a recommendation on a ColdFusion shopping cart script. I'm on a bit of a time crunch and am looking to purchase a cart and customize it for two clients.

I don't mind paying for something good - my only other real requirement is that the code be unencrypted so that I can make customizations.

I've looked at a bunch online (cf-ezcart, etc), but wanted to see if anyone knows of any hidden gems.

    Thanks!

    I HIGHLY recommend CartWeaver, http://www.cartweaver.com/store/deta...t.asp?id=cw2cf

It's only $250.00 and you can use it on AS MANY sites as you want, there is no per-site license structure.

I've used it on 4 other sites and can be easily customized. One thing I did was go in an tighten up the queries a bit by using the "cfqueryparam" to prevent injections and insert cftry/cfcatch tags where they left them out.

Other than that, it's been a very stable and scalable solution for my needs.

have a look at DPVision's products - I've never actually used them, but the fact that they are accessibility consious is a plus!

thanks MB! I've been looking at cartweaver as one of the possibilities.

Do you have any example URLs so I could check out a demo live?

Thanks, I had seen that already.

He had mentioned in his post that he had done some customizations for some projects and I was hoping to see a "real" shopping cart rather than one of CartWeavers.

You might also want to check ampleShop http://www.amplecom.com/. It comes opensource and you can purchase the $1800 multiple store license that allows you to manage/create a store for $50. It comes opensource and has a lot of available features.

I know this is an old thread, but I just wanted to leave a word of advice for those searching this forum for shopping carts: Do NOT use cfShopKart. The ColdFusion code doesn't make any sense, the HTML is horrific, the features are sorely lacking. It will take you weeks to get this cleaned up and up to par with a commercially available product. Unless you're seriously on a budget and don't mind putting a few weeks into it, go with something else... This seems to have been written on a very old version of CF. Maybe as far back as 4.5...
