    Suppress value from submit button?

    Ruby newbie here (I like the rhyming)

    I created a search form using the form helper tags, but I can't figure out how to suppress the value of submit_tag. Since I'm using GET it kind of looks weird in the URL: /search/search?query=xbox&commit=+SEARCH+

    Any ideas?

    You could remove the element with Javascript, then allow the form to submit.

    Edit:

    Or just use regular old HTML instead of Rails's Form Helper functions.
    HTML Code:
    <input type="submit" value="Save"/>
