Amazon Affiliate Stats - Quick Question

I've looked all over the Amazon associate pages - maybe I need to clean my glasses - but how long does it take for them to update stats after a quarter ends? Been a week now since the last update.

I've noticed the same... apparently it takes them awhile.

They seem to be unusually slow. Why they can't have real-time stats is beyond me.

Since I've just started to really pay attention to the Amazon stats, I thought maybe this was normal at the end of a pay quarter, but I did email them about it and when I get an answer I'll let you know what they have to say.

I'm assuming from everyone's reaction that this is something unusual.

I've only begun to regularly check those stats as well so I cannot attest to whether or not this is normal for the end of a quarter.

This is not something unusual. It takes amazon a long time between updatings affilate stats often. At the end of the quarter is no different.

I just got a reply from Amazon (my emphasis supplied):

We are experiencing some delays in aggregating data for display on
Associates Central and reports are not being posted in the timely
manner our Associates usually encounter. Please note that purchases
made though properly formatted links are being tracked, and any
delayed data is always maintained safely until it can be posted. We
apologize for any inconvenience this may be causing you and we can
assure you that timely data is a top priority for us. Our developers
are currently working on this and they expect to have reports updated
shortly. Please note that there is not a typical delay at the end of
    the quarter.
So, I guess it's just technology doing what it does best at times.

At the end of last quarter I had 17 orders and 14 of those had been shipped (i.e. I get commission). At the start of the next quarter the stats were reset - but what happened to those other 3 orders that hadn't been shipped? Where's my commission for those?!

    Anyone else have this?

    they will be shipped.

You get commission based on the quarter in which the items ship.
