Search engine software behind IIS 5

Can anyone recommend any decent, fairly cheap (up to 1000 GBP) search software that I can install behind a website running on IIS 5? I'd like it to be more sophisticated than a simple metatag crawler / boolean searcher, but I'm not allowed to use a remotely hosted service like Atomz. It would be nice if it could integrate with SQL Server. Many thanks in advance.

    Check out http://www.hotscripts.com

I have used several of their free searche scripts before, without a problem. I am not sure about SQL though.

Thanks for the suggestion. I actually ended up using 'Alkaline', available from http://www.vestris.com/. This is free for non-commercial use, fast and robust. It doesn't do fancy stuff like fuzzy matching, but I have managed to persuade it to index PDF and MSWord files.
