overlib library

Are there features similar to overlib in the prototype library so you can add help tips to labels?

No, not at this point anyways (and no indications of there being any in the future unless prototype begins to support it.) You can get around this by downloading the overlib library yourself, slapping it into the public/javascripts/ folder and using the javascript_include helper to include it. Then call it as you normally would per the overlib documentation.
