sending a .jpg file to a person by mail

I have a photoalbum page generated from a database where I want people to be able to let them send the picture to their email as attachment. Can somebody tell me how to do this ? I'm using PHP version 4.05.

This goes far beyond what we're accustomed to with the mail function. Sending attachments is no easy task.. fortunately, we have a pre-made example
