    Marketing of Online Training

    I have an extensive history in online training and education. Would really like to become better at marketing these services towards larger corporations, convince them that online training is a great way to go and that my company could create custom course for them!

    I know that over time there is going to be quite a few businesses that would be willing to do some online education, for various reasons.

    Any thoughts on marketing toward big business and offer the online training services?

    Yes!

    Looking at your site i see that you are very good at using Flash,

    I had an idea that would work if i had the skills;

    Create a very elaborate presentation of your services using flash, then add
    the flash presentation to a CD Busiess cards and send then out to prospects.

    this would work very well, and customer aquisition would not be a problem for you as
    you would make much more than the $1 cost for sending out the CD Business card.

    I feel that this would work wonders.

    Hopes this helps

    Thanks for the tips so far... The Business CDs are really a good idea, but the $$ aspect isn't there yet

    How about offering a buy one get one free day. This way you still get some work, evne though it might be a little bit cheaper. I train freelance, mostly computer programming but word of mouth is unbelievable when it comes to training. Not only do the people who hire you spread the word round but also your students. I am having to say no to work because I am too busy!

    Hey that may be a good idea! It is just a matter of finding the clients that are interested in the service. Glad to hear that you are really busy!

    I get a lot of work through my local university. They offer training courses so obviuosly they need trainers. They do all the marketing, enrolment, provide facilities, lunch etc, I just show up, train and then get paid! I also teach at my department but that is teaching as opposed to training.
