    Testing PHP

Is there a way to test your php scripts with out loading them up into your directory of your site.? Like a program that could run these scripts just from your home computer. And if so do any of these also offer MySql testing too? I would like to save some effort being able to test them at home before I load each one up.

Yes, you can download both programs (PHP and MySQL) for Windows 98. Apache is also available,

    PHP www.php.net
    mySQL www.mysql.com
    Apache httpd.apache.org

phpdev4 by firepages is the best. The new version even has perl, and best of all, all you have to do is unzip the file.

Or as I have said before. Download each piece separately and learn how to configure them properly. You will only come out of it with that much more knowledge.
Please don't PM me with questions.
Use the forums, that is what they are here for.

I agree with CyberFuture, phpdev4 is very easy to set up. Also check out this thread.
