They've been revised and expanded throughout, though the bulk of the new material in the book is contained in chapters 11 and 12. You should also be aware that chapters 5-10 are no longer available on our site; they were removed when the book was published.

I managed to grab a copy before the chapters were removed
. Despite this, I think I'll still go for the book. The turorial was extremely helpful so I'm looking forward to some more of the same.
Keep it up, Kevin.

Hey Kev,
I noticed a typo on page 149, in the last paragraph:
SitePoit.com -> SitePoint.com
Decent book (-:
Where SHOULD we post typos? Here, or somewhere else? (or not at all? (-: )

Now is that an embarassing typo or what?
I'll add it to the errata page immediately.
Notices of typos are very welcome, either on the forums or to my email address: kevin@sitepoint.com.Kevin Yank

Non-generic
Where can I get information on connecting to a specific mysql database. Namely Valueweb.
Their technical support point me to all of the generic data.

To use PayPal send US$41.90 to order@sitepoint.com and include a shipping address. That's all you have to do.

I'll process your order first thing in the morning (it's very late here) and it'll ship out tomorrow from our shipping facility in the US. From there, it will take approx. 2 weeks to reach you in Australia.

Yaaa!! My book just arrived (look out world!).
Is there any way of getting a tax receipt for it as the confirmation email says "This is not a tax receipt"?

The email that was sent to you with subject 'Worldpay credit/debit card purchase: XXXXXXXX' should act as your tax receipt. Where does it say 'this is not a tax receipt'?

Yea, I think that email should be good enough. It looks like WorldPay insert "This is not a tax receipt".

Help with the samples
Hi all,
After purchasing the book a few months ago but only now finding the time to sit down and read the book I've run into a small problem on chapter 3 with the samplepage.php page.
I get the following error
Parse error: parse error, expecting `','' or `';'' in /Library/WebServer/Documents/development/samplepage.php on line 6
When I look at line 6 this is what I have...
<?php if ( !isset($name) ): ?>
What am I doing wrong? I tried to get the code samples from the site, but I've deleted my email now with the transcation ID...
Please help

Gerg,
If you email me with your email address, I should be able to look up your transaction ID.
Have you checked your code against the list of typos in the book on the errata page?Kevin Yank

Are you going to be taking the full version of the article offline from:
http://www.mysql.com/articles/ddws/index.html
...and I know there is another site somewhere that has the article published.
???

The full version will be removed from MySQL.com and replaced with the 4-chapter preview in the near future, yes. If you want a copy of it, better grab it now!
I don't know of any other site that has the full series published. If you can find it, would you please let me know?Kevin Yank

Kevin,
It was in the errata page on the website. My girlfriend had had enough of me shouting so she managed to find it.
Thanks
