I'm new to this board, and I have a question, so let's see if you guys can help me out:
I want to create a website that will contain a photogallery containing little thumbnails. When the user hovers over any of those thumbnails, a bigger version of that image will pop up on a new layer. I know how to do this using pop-up windows, but I don't really like them, so I would like to use layers instead. It is important to understand that the thumbnail and the actual image have different dimensions, so it's not just a standard rollover.
Thanks for your tip. I decided to go with another strategy. I designed a photogallery that is 100% based on CSS, without any JavaScript. It looks quite good and I'll see if I can post the URL on this board soon.
