Question a good book to learn advanced-level php

    hi every1~

After a break of about six months, I am deciding to get back to web development and to the most fascinating programming lang, php. This time I want to pay more attention at advancing my php skills than worrying about desiging. Thus, I'm looking for an easy-to-understand book about advanced PHP programming to solidify my PHP skills.

I've also checked out several books on PHP at Amazon. They all seem pretty good, but I'm not sure which one is the best. The one that I'm currently considering is PHP 5 Power Programming.

    What do you guys think?

Well, these books spring to mind,

    PoEAA by Fowler,
    Design Patterns by GoF,
    Domain Driven Design by Evans,
Test Driven Development by Beck (not brilliant in my view, but still a worthwhile read)
Guide to PHP Design Patterns by Jason Sweat

There are a few others that are spoken highly of in these forums, but they've slipped my mind at the moment.

This time I want to pay more attention at advancing my php skills than worrying about desiging.
I wouldn't rule out design entirely, as to advance your skills, design is part and parcel of making that advancement in my view, but there are numerous areas in which to advance, and design is one such area - as I see it

PHP 5 Objects, Patterns and Practice by Zandstra (released by Apress) - I found this one great for an introduction to design patterns - good explanation of why we should invest the time to implement them in php.
